Paul Weightman

Director

Paul was the founding Executive Chairman of Cromwell Property Group (ASX:CMW) on its establishment in 1998 and was the CEO and Managing Director of the Group for the following 22 years. Paul exited the Group at the end of 2020. During this time, he took Cromwell to a Global company with over $12B in assets under management, leading equity raising valued at over $5B. Cromwell never failed to meet earnings or distribution guidance and under Pauls leadership Cromwell was top 5 ASX stock and in the top 3 in global REITS from 2010 to 2020 when he left the Firm.

With many years of experience and success in the industry, Paul continues to see a real disconnect between true quality investment opportunities and a wide range of savvy investors looking to diversify and grow their investment portfolios.

Adam Baker

Director – Investment Engagement

With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in global investment event management, Adam has had the privilege of working directly with hundreds of international “best of class” investment managers. Adam’s expertise lies in facilitating the sourcing of new capital and investors, providing global wholesale, family office, and institutional investors access to high-performing investment opportunities to fortify and diversify their portfolios.

In Adam’s most recent role, Adam was at the forefront of capital raising initiatives, collaborating directly with select investment managers. This encompassed spearheading comprehensive strategies, including marketing/content strategy, sales approach, capital raising, investor relations communication, and executing successful fund-raising campaigns. Notably, Adam’s efforts contributed to the impressive achievement of raising $539 million in equity (totaling $929 million in assets under management) across a portfolio of 10 commercial real estate assets. This included the landmark acquisition of Casuarina Square, Darwin, and Caneland Central, Mackay, marking the largest unlisted asset acquisition in Australian history. Additionally, Adam played a pivotal role in the recent acquisition of the Botanicca office portfolio, further enhancing the investment profile. Adam successfully added over 340 new wholesale investors and clients to the portfolio he was working on, a testament to his ability to forge and nurture strategic relationships in the investment landscape.

Prior to these accomplishments, Adam played a key role in assisting a Singapore-based firm in raising capital for their European hospitality and UK student accommodation business. This experience added an international dimension to his skill set and reinforced his understanding of the intricacies of global capital markets.
